(1) The alloy layer is cast with defects, micro cracks or hidden danger of shelling, rough surface, air holes inside, and natural wear is fast after being put into operation.

(2) The lubricating oil of the bearing bush is not clean, there are sundries, or the circulating oil circuit is not smooth enough, and the oil supply is not timely during operation, which increases the friction between the bearing bush and the journal, leading to premature wear of the bearing alloy.

(3) The seal is damaged, and dust or materials enter the bearing pad, causing premature wear of the bearing pad.

(4) Poor matching and grinding of bearing pads and shafts, poor matching and grinding of the inner spherical surface of bearing pedestal and the spherical surface of bearing pads, and uneven distribution of contact spots cause rapid local wear of main bearing pads, which is mainly caused by the pad mouth.

(5) Mechanical overload will increase the working load of bearing pads and cause premature wear of bearing pads.

In view of the above wear background and causes of bearing pads, traditional methods cannot solve the problem of small operating space, and only the method of on-site disassembly free can be used. In order to resume production as soon as possible, the enterprise has adopted the Solex carbon nano polymer material repair technology. Instead of overall disassembly, it can be partially disassembled to repair only the worn parts, and the repair time and effect are very good.
